Just the other day as me and Jaz where getting out of the car, she saw a hawk carry away a baby squirrel. The weird thing is, that the bird got it straight from the nest. Jaz got to see it, and told me about it. That's because she was carrying the groceries, while I tasseled to get my things and bring them inside. Soon after both car doors where shut, we heard squealing from up in that very same tree branch. Turns out, the mother squirrel was crying from the incident.
Yesterday, as me and Jaz were driving to the house, we saw a a GIGANTIC owl fly from out of the road to the sky, and not to be seen by any public or local hunters.
Cool! Every so often I got to see some big birds in town, but since I've moved to the Big City I rarely do see them anymore.
ReplyDeleteHelp me out a little, please. What does "not to be seen by and public or local hunters" mean?
Well, there could be hunters in the public comunity, where its flying to. Local, because it was in my local comunity, and there might have been some bird hunters who close by.
ReplyDelete(But I'm sure that if there where, they probebly would of never relized).
Okay, now another question. Does "bird hunters" mean people who hunt birds, or birds of prey?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I like the blue leaves motif on your blog. Very autumn/winter cool!
Thank-you! I think it looks cool, too. I am thinking of making a new blog as well. And by the way, I don't understand what you mean by your question.
ReplyDeleteNEW BLOG-I will get back with everyone on that.
P.S. TELL OTHERS ABOUT ALL MY NEW POSTS!! (please?)
New blog huh
ReplyDeleteOyster--birds of prey are birds that hunt other birds, small mammals, or reptiles. Goo is trying to determine whether you are talking about people hunting birds or birds who are hunting.
