Talented Arts

A couple days ago, I got tested for Talented Arts for my school. Turns out, I was suppost to get tested two years ago. But the good news is I got in, but I won't be able to accually do it until next year. I was the very first out of the program to ever get a 100% on both test. Each test get scored by two people, and they both said: 100%.

  1. Congratulations! Please, don't let them pull you from English grammar and spelling to attend this special class. Hope you enjoy the added experience.
    Love you.

  2. No (I don't think), but if I were able to go to it this year, then I would miss part of math. Yay!

  3. What was your talent. And if you don't have to do a talent act please tell me what you do. I do not have this at my school. And I don't want to go my whole life without knowing.

  4. Well, I guess you take a test. You fill in the answers. You also have to draw. One was making the house a 3-D house. Two others were drawing the turtle's shell, and making tree bark. The other test was that someone giving you the test would read you a story. You had to draw what she wanted you to, and use details from the story in it. Any questions?

  5. That is fascinating---the test, I mean. What kind of story did you hear and what did you draw? It also sounds like fun. I hope you had fun doing it.
    Love you.

  6. Do you have to take the test or did you choose to. I don't know if you have any idea what I'm talking about, but do you have a sort of TAKS test over there. I know it wouldn't be called this though. If you want to know what it is then here I will explain it to you. It's tests that decide whether you pass or not. There's reading and math. Always. Then there's writing in fourth grade and science in fifth grade. It's an all day test and you can't go out to recess. If your not done by lunch you have to go into a separate room to eat lunch. So that's basically what a TAKS test is.

  7. Pardon me for butting in, please. Your TAKS testing in Tx is LEAP in La. That is separate from what Oyster's testing for the talented /gifted program was. She did well on the LEAP and is passing, but this other testing enters her into an additional learning program. That is, additional to her regular scholastic program.

  8. I know that this was different than the TAKS. I just wanted to know what it was called in Louisiana.
